LECH AM ARLBERG

Lech - the gem in the Arlberg region. Well known for its widespread ski slopes and the birthplace of skiing. Also a true beauty in summer!

The Arlberg ski area is the largest ski area in Austria and the fifth largest worldwide. It is known for its snow guarantee until the end of the season in late April. When skiing in Lech you are connected to 305 sunny kilometers of slopes, and 200 kilometers of high alpine deep powder snow runs. For walking enthousiast there are over 40 kilometers of winter walking trails through the wonderful alpine snowcapes, or even snowshoeing to discover more magnificent winter landscapes. For the cross-country fanatics, the Arlberg region offers about 27 kilometers of cross-country ski-tracks surrounded by panoramic mountain views.

As afternoon or evening event the village of Lech has a 1.2 kilometers long toboggan run from the Oberlech gondola all the way down into the village.

In the middle of the village - next to the historical bridge - you have the possibility for a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, which can also be a fun after ski event for the kids.
